Originally founded in 2015 as “Alyssa Ko Design Studio,” our journey has been one of transformation and collaboration. Led by principal architect Alyssa Ko, our path led us through various endeavors, from partnerships to independent ventures, culminating in prestigious projects in Bali. Upon facing the challenges of COVID-19 in 2020, we returned to Bandung and embraced collaboration with experienced professionals. This led to our expansion into construction and partnerships with Alyssa Ko’s father’s interior company & carpentry. In 2023, we furthered our reach by establishing a studio in Bintaro, Jakarta’s satellite city, symbolizing our commitment to innovation and partnership. Thus, Akons Architects was born, signifying not just architectural expertise but the spirit of collaboration with Alyssa Ko & Partners. Our mission remains to collaborate with diverse professionals, shaping inspiring spaces together.

Architectural Design: At Akons Architects, our primary design philosophy is “Zeitgeist,” aiming to seamlessly integrate our creations with their surroundings and purpose. We strive for designs that exude humility while feeling inherently connected to their environment.
Architectural Construction (Bandung - Jabodetabek only): Collaborating with skilled builders and engineers in the Bandung-Jakarta area, we ensure that our architectural drawings are translated into meticulously crafted structures, meeting the highest standards of quality and durability.
Interior Design: Beyond architectural divisions, we extend our expertise to interior design, partnering with diverse architects to explore intricate details and craft distinct atmospheres. Our collaborative approach allows us to create spaces that resonate with our clients’ visions and aspirations.
Interior Construction: Leveraging the resources of our Principal’s Father, Mr. Deddy Ko, and his established interior company and workshop, equipped with professional carpenters since 1990, we bring our interior designs to life with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring every detail is executed to perfection.
